A2P certification

The A2P standard (Assurance Prévention Protection) is the quality guarantee for locks. It comes in 3 levels:

• A2P*: 5 minutes resistance
• A2P**: 10 minutes resistance
• A2P***: 15 minutes resistance

Number of locking points

The more locking points a lock has, the more resistant it is. Generally, 3 to 5 points are recommended for a front door.
